Mickey Mouse center piece

Here is the complete center piece --- NOTICE I USED TISSUE PAPER TO FILL IN THE EMPTY SPACE AND ALSO THE SHREDDED PAPER TO HIDE THE FOAM, 90% OF THIS CENTER PIECE I BOUGHT AT THE DOLLAR TREE INCLUDING THE SMALL MICKEY SITTING IN FRONT

you will need pom poms

fuzzy sticks

bar-b-que sticks

blow pops

decorative shredded paper

attach your party theme cut outs to the sticks

I glued my Mickeys to a piece of foam sheet to keep him standing

here was another Mickey cut out I used

Metal buckets and the foam

you need different color ribbons

more candy

just start adding candy ribbon, the ribbons, and so on finish with the shredded paper to hide the sticks and foams

Mickey clay pot candy jar

its very time consuming because you have to do one color wait for it to dry do 2nd coat wait till it dries and tape it off and do it again. You do this for 3 colors

this was my 1st color

you need E6000 to glue the saucer to the clay pot and also the actual bowl this glue has strong fumes please use it in a ventilated area

you will also need a leveler to make sure bowl is even

here is the paints I used

here is the semi finished product

this is how the clay pot started

this is the foam ball I used for the ears

make sure the glass bowl has a wide top as above

ear demo

I used regular white buttons as above

revamp an old plastic gumball machine

AFTER

BEFORE
this is the reason why I had to paint the plastic ball I tried to remove the dollar mark with acetone and it stained the plastic

so I added stick on letters

here is a better look at the mess I made

I used this paint

took it outside and did a light painting all around

oh I did cover the top with tape I did not want any paint inside, otherwise the bubble gum would taste like paint

Mickey Mouse Deco Mesh wreath

pre-cut all the pieces one color 5 inches one 4 inches and one inch on the 3 color

start by opening a pipe cleaner and attach 1st color and go all the way around -- to remember where I started i bend the pipe cleaner on the tips ( see a few pictures down)

pinch before you tie to the tie wrap

so this is what I meant by bending the tip of the 1st pipe cleaner so you remember where you started because I found myself getting lost

here again is my starting point

let me tell you deco mesh is awesome but these tips hurt your fingers and they get stuck to everything :(

I also added ribbons in matching colors and I cut them in different sizes from 4 inches down
