Dollar Tree candle holders

Large candle holders from Dollar Tree finds:
I was looking for cheap candle holders for my fireplace, but all the ones I fell in love with were very expensive and since I only wanted them  for seasonal use, I had to look around and brainstorm on how to make them:  so here is what I came up with...

this is the final product
from Dollar Tree you will need a flower vase and a candle holder - see picture above

you need a strong glue

Add the glue around the candle holder (the side where you would place a candle) place it on the center bottom of the vase and press down see the next 3 pictures below ...

let it sit like this over night, and next day fill with anything you like. I used 2 bags of blue pebbles from the Dollar Tree- see the 1st picture

Harvest 2011

Here again is the large cup cake stand I made. I'm decorating it for the Fall Harvest Festival bazaar.
See the cup cake's below I made 3 circles with the jell decorating tubes and with a tooth pick I pulled down from the center down to create spider web, the spiders are plastic rings.
here is the cup cake stand full of cup cakes, candy apples and cookies
I made this candy jar out of a candle jar, I boiled the jar over and over till all the wax and smell was gone. Decorated it and filled it with Fall chocolate candy. These sold for $10.00 to  15.00 depending on the size
this base I bought at the Dollar Tree (little pumpkin's) and I placed a foam in the middle covered it with gift wrap filler made out of paper-bag material also from Dollar Tree filled with chocolates and placed in gift bag wrap, and tied with pretty bow. Also sold for $10.00

ducky baby shower cupcakes

Ducky baby shower cupcakes:
I couldn't find a cup cake stand large enough to hold 50 cup cakes so I made this one from 2 pieces of plywood, and a long piece of metal (I will do a future tutorial on how to make it). To measure the width I went around the house and found large circular objects to use as templates, traced it and cut it with an electric jigsaw. I painted white and embellished it with little pom-pom string. I continue using it for all my parties I just paint it and decorate it over and over again you will see it in all my party pictures
and her are the cupcakes I made.

the very top I made cookies with little duck sprinkles
